Progress

Some progress is slow, and some moves much faster than we ever expected. Architecture has a funny way of making us confront both.

A project can spend months in conversations, revisions, approvals, and waiting, only to suddenly move through construction in what feels like a matter of weeks.

Another project can feel ready for the next step, yet remain still for reasons completely outside our control. It reminds me that progress is not always measured by how quickly something moves, but by understanding what each stage needs before it is ready to move forward.

As designers, perhaps part of our role is learning when to push, when to wait, and when to simply trust the process.
